In Rory McIlroy’s press conference after his win at the 2014 Open Championship he said using the EyeLine Putting Alignment Mirror has been a big help to his putting.

Here is an excerpt from the post tournament press conference:

Reporter: I think it was in Charlotte that you said you noticed in Augusta that your putting was a little bit mis-aligned, and that was something you figured out, and I was curious… you’ve been excellent since then. Was that a big turning point in your year?

Rory McIlroy: Yeah, it was a huge turning point. I remember it well… the second green at Augusta on Sunday, I lined a putt up and I just figured this out. I don’t know if any of you guys watch my routine now before I play, but I always spend about 15 or 20 minutes on this putting mirror and before I go out to play I go to the putting green and I do that then I go hit balls then I come back and hit some putts. That mirror has been a big help to me just to fix my alignment a little bit and get my eye line right and ever since then I’ve putted very well.
